The Starbucks Effect

Who’s Up For a Challenge?

To know where we’re going, we need to know where we are!  If I want to head to Vancouver, it’s going to matter if I’m starting off in Calgary or Seattle.  My trip will be very different.

Budgeting definitely involves money.  But it also involves behavior.  I’ve mentioned before that when I kept track of what I was spending money on, I felt a bit nauseous and changed my habit.  As a matter of fact, as I type this, my coffee in my to-go cup is sitting to the left of my laptop.  I used to spend wayyy too much on my beloved Starbucks Americano.  (Once, they wrote “Ten” as my name on my cup, another time they were out of my brekkie sandwich and wrote that my Americano was made with love – I adore good service”).  But that is money that can go to fulfilling my dreams instead of my belly.

So, in order to know where we’re going, we need to know where we are!  For the month of October, we challenge all our Club Members to keep track of everything you’re spending your money on!  After Halloween, please email it to me or your favorite Client Care Specialist.  All clients who complete this will be entered into a draw for a $25 gift card for your favorite coffee shop.

Jen has been with Blue Copper since 2010. She had a prior life in recruiting and sales. Jen was excited about Dave’s vision (not too many people can say that about their ex) of getting people out of the payday loan cycle and being able to help clients who other companies might not give a chance to. She was pleased that she was allowed to use her gut, heart and common sense instead of only looking at the beacon score on a credit bureau. Jen is excited to offer a unique lending experience where the loans delivered lead to a better life for clients.
